HOME INSPECTIONS |
WHAT WE INSPECTA visual inspection will be performed of the roofing system, interior electrical system, interior plumbing system, structural components, air conditioning and heating system, exterior siding and trim, doors and windows, chimneys and fireplaces, garage, crawlspace, attic, basement, kitchen and bathrooms and all other rooms, driveways, walkways and site grading. The inspection is not technically exhaustive. It is understood that random exams may be performed on some items of each system (i.e., shingles, electrical outlets, bricks, etc.).
WHAT WE DON’T INSPECTItems that are not covered by the inspection include pools, spas, barns, storage sheds and other structures, playground equipment, sprinkler systems, security systems, solar systems, appliances, humidifiers, electric air cleaners, sump pumps, on site water supply systems, on site waste disposal systems such as septic tanks, cesspools, and drain fields. Components not visible or obstructed at the time of the inspection, and components not mentioned in the report are specifically excluded from the inspection and report. The home inspection is not intended to be an engineering, environmental or geological study, and does not and is not intended to address the possible danger of any potentially harmful substances and environmental hazards including but not limited to lead, urea formaldehyde, toxins, carcinogens, flammable substances and contaminants in the soil, water or air, or past or present illegal drug presence. The inspection is not a building code compliance report. |
